50 Games to Use in the Classroom and Beyond
I was tasked with selecting a book dealing with a topic related to games and learning and of particular interest to you. For my selection, I chose Learning, Education & Games: 100 Games to Use in the Classroom & Beyond by Karen Shrier. This book was interesting to me because I love using games within the classroom and was excited to expand my integration of educational games into the classroom.
For this project, I created a spreadsheet with 50 of the most popular games along with an analysis of each game. I categorized each game for users to easily identify specific skills taught; curricular connections; the cost; link to find the game; and a few other details. This project was created during Spring 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. This resource has been shared out with many of my colleagues at work as well as my classmates who have utilized this resource as well.
